International Day 2026
On Friday 20th June 2026, we celebrated 'International Day' in our school. The day began with an assembly to celebrate diversity within our school. The children were dressed in clothing linked to different countries connected to our families and we celebrated that we have children in our school with connections to all over our world. The children reflected on the importance of treating others with respect and having 'Unity' throughout the World.
After the assembly, children had the opportunity to particate in a wide range of activities. These included listening to stories from all over the world, playing games from other countries, writing poetry and producing some amazing artwork.
After school, the celebrations continued with our 'International Day' PTA event. The choir sang beautifully and there were opportunities to sample food from around the world as well as other exciting games and activities.
Everyone had a great day celebrating and learnt a lot about different countries and cultures.
