This week we had the pleasure of being visited by Electric Umbrella. We enjoyed a fantastic workshop and assembly, learning new songs, as well as Makaton sign language.

We have also been busy in D&T and in our English unit, Handa's Surprise, learning about fruit and vegetables. They followed instructions to make a vegetable salad and next week we shall make fruit kebabs and fruit smoothies. This has taught the children invaluable cutting and grating skills, as well as having an enjoyable time tasting the ingredients.

We had our final session from the Loreto Story Readers this week. They have been excellent at promoting reading for pleasure.
