School Day Timings

8.45 am School opens for SODA (Start Of the Day Activities). All children must be in school by 8.55. Children arriving after 8.55 will be marked late.

3.05 pm Reception school day ends

3.15 pm Key Stage 1 school day ends

3.20 pm Key Stage 2 school day ends

The School Week amounts to the following hours:

30 hours and 50 minutes- Reception
31 hours and 15 minutes- Key Stage 1
32 hours and 5 minutes- Key Stage 2

Breakfast Club is open from 7.45 until 8.40 am. (From September 2026, Breakfast Club will open at 7.30 am)

After School Club is open from 3.15 until 6pm.

All places in Breakfast Club and After School Club must be booked via Arbor at least 48 hours in advance. Contact the Office at admin@ssas.herts.sch.uk for more details.
